How Do Dr Fish Pedicures Work

Why surrender to this practice at all? We tell you! We separate the main benefits of the procedure for you to stay inside.

In a pedicure session with fish, first of all, you have your feet adequately sanitized; the fish (which are kept in an ordinary communal aquarium) is then brought in and placed in a properly sanitized container filled with warm water; around 100 fish per individual tank are generally used.

The exfoliation produced by Garra rufa is delicate and completely painless. However, it can be a little awkward for the first time before it becomes pleasant. Almost immediately after introducing the feet and hands, hundreds of Garra Rufa fish start to work. After a while, the slight tickle turns into a pleasant and relaxing massage.

These individual tanks will receive the customer's fish and feet; they are unique aquariums with an ultraviolet light filter capable of eliminating bacteria and other microorganisms and the tanks being constantly sanitized.

Before the client starts the process with the fish, their feet are properly cleaned and sanitized; during the cleaning, the professional will look for wounds or cuts or anything else that could trigger some danger or contamination if exposed to the fish.
